PanCaribbean: Jamaica's Number One Stockbrokerage Firm
The entity grabbed J$4,586,164,126 in value traded, with 26.4 percent market share.Kevin Donaldson, Manager PanCaribbean Equities Unit, commented on the company objectives that lead to the number one stock trading position, "PanCaribbean believes that to achieve a consistent and leading market position, a continued provision of sound advise to our clients based on thorough research" will lead to continued sucess. Donaldson said that PanCaibbean will continue to be "responsive to our clients needs, this is enhanced by the development of multiple order channels and dedicated equity trading professionals to each client ".
These plans coupled with the company's efficient order execution and large order book, augurs well for a continued market leading position.
With the current year expected to be just as successful for PCFS, Merrick Plummer, Research and Portfolio Manager, Pan Caribbean Financial Services, commented on the opportunities for PCFS in 2011. "Investors have been experiencing declining income on certain investments given the fall-off in interest rates. Therefore, PanCaribbean continues to encourage investors to purchase stocks that pay dividends on a consistent basis to replace the lost income. A number of these stocks provide dividend yields that exceed existing interest rates on fixed income investments.
Plummer said that the PanCaribbean team, following the success of Dolphin Cove, anticipates more exciting listings on the Junior Stock Exchange and look forward to introducing our clients to these stocks.
