PanCaribbeanBank and All-Jamaica Tennis Ready for Sixth Set

Continuing in its commitment to assist the development of the nation’s youths, PanCaribbeanBank (PCB) has announced the sponsorship of the All-Jamaica Junior Tennis Championship. PanCaribbean handed over a cheque for ----- at the Altamont Court Hotel in New Kingston on Thursday, June 23.

This is the fifth year the company is supporting the event, and CEO, Philip Armstrong says he believes in the continued partnership. “Sports is a priority target area for the Sagicor/PanCaribbean group as we strive to contribute to the development of the youth in Jamaica”, Armstrong said. “Tennis is known for promoting discipline, self- motivation and excellence in children”, He continued

Aubyn Hill, Tennis Jamaica (TJ) President, expressed his sincere appreciation to PanCaribbean for it's ongoing of the junior tournament. He stated that, “it is meaningful support like this greatly that assists TJ in trying to meet one of it's primary objectives which is to provide keen and healthy competition for Jamaica's young developing players".

More than 150 players compete in the boys' and girls' Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 categories.

The Tennis tournament is scheduled for July 6 to June 10, PanCaribbeanBank All-Jamaica Junior Tennis Championship assists in preparing some of the top junior players for Tennis Jamaica’s annual international junior event and has taken the game to over 70 schools across Jamaica.
