Sagicor Motivational Seminar School Tour

Students at The Queen’s School respond positively to the question ‘Who wants to be successful?’ by international speaker, Kirk Nugent. The presentation to over 250 fourth form students was part of the Sagicor Motivational School Tour September 26-28. The Sagicor Motivational Seminar Committee decided to award over $100,000 in scholarships as this year’s project ahead of the September 29-October 2 staff seminar in Montego Bay.

Sagicor Life Jamaica President, Richard Byles (l), converses with Jamaica College Vice Principal, Collette Pryce and featured speaker, Kirk Nugent, on the last stop of the Sagicor Motivational School Tour on September 28. A JC Old Boy himself, Mr. Byles reminded the young men of the school’s tradition of leadership, and made a personal contribution of $25,000 matching the grant made to fifth former, Hakeem Barrett.

Karl Williams, Sagicor Vice President Human Relations, presents a $15,000 grant to St. Andrew Technical High School student, Meika Hinds, as part of the Sagicor Motivational School Tour on September 26. Jamaican-born international speaker, Kirk Nugent, visited several schools in Kingston sharing his message of empowerment ahead of the Sagicor Motivational Seminar September 29 - October 2, where he was a main speaker
