PanCaribbeanBank Continues Its Mission to Develop Jamaican Athletes



 PanCaribbeanBank has recommitted its support to the development of the Junior Classic Tournament scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2012 at the Tryall Club in Montego Bay by way of sponsorship support valued at J$200,000. The 2012 staging marks the fourth since the tournament’s inception in 2009.

Leah Brown, Brand Manager, PanCaribbeanBank is of the view that Jamaicans possess great talent and if honed, can help augment the futures of individual athletes and in extension brand Jamaica.“PanCaribbeanBank believes firmly in youth development through sports and education. We have worked tirelessly with a number of organisations to achieve this goal and are particularly excited about this opportunity which allows us to reach out to athletes outside of the corporate area,” shared Brown.

Mobay Tennis President and Tournament Referee, Simon Casserly is delighted to have PanCaribbeanBank on board once again. “PanCaribbeanBank has once again shown its dedication to the sport and are we are especially grateful for the hands on approach the company takes. It shows genuine care for the development of tennis in Jamaica,” declared Casserly.

The PanCaribbeanBank Junior Classic Tournament is co-coordinated by Mobay Tennis and sanctioned by Tennis Jamaica and is expected to see over 100 players participating in Girls and Boys under 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s categories.
