Joffia Johnson-Bell, Brand Manager for Welch’s in Jamaica presents a cheque valued at five hundred thousand dollars to Peter Bangerter, Secretary/Treasurer for Heart Foundation of Jamaica on Monday, March 4 at the Altamont Court Hotel. Welch’s donated three percent of its February sales to the Heart Foundation of Jamaica toward raising awareness of heart and blood vessel diseases.
Welch’s partners with the Heart Foundation of Jamaica for the sixth year and donated three per cent of its sales in February to the institution in an effort to raise awareness of heart and blood vessel diseases and support programmes that help to find solutions. During Heart Month, the brand hosted in-store promotions to increase the awareness of the partnership and provided tips to support heart-healthy living. The partnership reaffirms Welch’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle among Jamaicans.
