Attica makes strong entry in Sagicor UWI Champions League semi final

The action in the 2014 Sagicor UWI Guild Champions League is set to heat up as the semi-finals round kicks off, on Sunday, November 16. The University of the West Indies’ Guild’s partnership with Sagicor, has seen three-time champions Attica, of Taylor Hall already securing their semi-final berth along with Dynamite of Chancellor Hall, though in contrasting fashion.

The Atticans have also eased into the semi-finals on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win over Titans of Preston Hall, while it took penalties to decide the clash between Dynamite and last year’s finalists, Roosters. The Dynamite team showed great character after battling to a 0-0 score line after full and extra-time before holding their nerve in the shootout to book their place in the semi-finals.

Attica now awaits the winner of the Block Aye and Siberia game, while Dynamite will face the winner of semi-final two with Dragons and Stallion Republic.
