Jamaica will be the 49th country and Costa Rica, the following day, the 50th,” said the Swedish marathon enthusiast and journalist. “My next mission is to cycle from Athens, Greece, across Europe, North America and South America to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. I will start the journey at the end of March and I will of course run marathons on my way.”
The Biking Viking along with five US marathoners, have started a new international marathon club called the Marathon Globetrotters, who are also expected at the Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K event on Saturday, December 6.

With runners expected from over 29 countries, there will be media expected from the UK, Germany, Canada, USA, Belgium, Japan and Sweden in addition to a strong contingent of local media. While some of the media such as Anders Forselius, who writes for the Runner’s World Sweden magazine, will participate in the event others will be there to observe, film or photograph the event.
