Lascelles Chin invited investors to do business with Jamaica

Hon. Lascelles Chin Founder and Executive Chairman of the LASCO Affiliated Companies, declared Jamaica open for business to investors gathered at the recently held Jamaica Investment Forum 2015 hosted by JAMPRO, at the Montego Bay Convention Centre on Thursday, March 12.

Lascelles Chin, Founder and Executive Chairman of LASCO Affiliated Companies and Brian Pengelley, President, Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA) have a discussion during the Jamaica Investment Forum held on Thursday, March 12 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
He shared his experience of investing in manufacturing in Jamaica, with focus on the food products and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Chin cited the country's infrastructure, productivity efficiency and an expanding labour force of expert professionals as reasons for doing business in Jamaica, especially in today's competitive environment. He also commended JAMPRO on the tremendous work they have been doing to facilitate investing and ease of doing business in Jamaica.
Hon. Lascelles Chin joined other speakers for the forum including Mr. Brian Pengelley, President, Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA), Mr. Metry Seaga, Director, Jamaica Fiberglass Products Ltd. and Mr. Norman Horne, President & CEO, ARC Systems Ltd.
